Applauding Life After 50

"Applauding Life After 50," which airs on BCTV, provides updates on events, activities, and volunteer opportunities for Berks County residents age 50 and older. The episodes are recorded live on the second Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m. The 30-minute replays are shown on the second Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and the second Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m.

The program is underwritten by White Star Tours.

March 9 at 10:30 a.m.: "Healthy Eating for One or Two"

Host Martha Sitler will discuss "MyPlate: New Guidelines for Healthy Eating" with special guest Meredith Mensinger, Redner's Warehouse Markets Registered Dietitian. The show will focus on healthy cooking for one or for two, and will include cooking demonstrations.
