Berks Encore @ Home: Vendors

Many seniors want to stay in their own place as they age. Aging in place means that they may need assistance to maintain a home, keep their home safe, get transportation, or to do other activities that they enjoy. Often children are asked to help when they do not have the time or perhaps live out of the area. Whatever the needs, seniors and their families want to be able to call one place and know they can get assistance from someone they can trust to be in their home.

Berks Encore wants to meet the needs of the aging adults in Berks County by providing a vetted vendor list so that they can call Berks Encore @ Home whenever they need someone to help do things, such as:

  • Home repair or Handyman services
  • Yard work or snow removal
  • Housekeeping services
  • In-home health care
  • Home delivered meals or groceries
  • Transportation
  • Run Errands

If you provide services to seniors in their home, then we invite you to apply for the Berks Encore @ Home vetted vendor program. Although we cannot guarantee you business, we believe that having the Berks Encore stamp of approval on our exclusive referrals will increase your business opportunities. At the time of a service request, your name and rates will be given to our members along with other vendors in our program that provide similar services. We encourage you to provide discounts to our members, if possible. There is an annual application fee of $75 to participate.
