The Horizon Singers practice at the Reading Center

Enjoy a variety of fun and unique activities at Berks Encore-Reading, including:

  • Photo Club
  • Bus trips
  • Journaling group
  • Computer classes
  • Intergenerational programs

On-going activities include:

  • Wii bowling is available anytime that a special event is not scheduled in Erdman Hall
  • Silver Sneakers MSROM classes every Monday and Wednesday at 8 a.m. and Friday at 11 a.m.
  • Horizon Singers Practice every Monday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Senior Orchestra Practices every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Tai Chi every Wednesday at 1 p.m.
  • Bingo every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. and the second and fourth Friday at 12:30 p.m.
  • Arts and Crafts every Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Modified Exercise every Friday at 10 a.m.
  • Zumba Gold every Monday at 11 a.m.

In addition to the fun activities, the center provides congregate meals at lunchtime at the Providence Center.

BARTA services are available five days a week, Monday through Friday.

The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
