Under 60 MOW Donations
Because of recent state budget cuts, the Under 60 Meals on Wheels program that serves those who are low income and disabled under the age of 60, is in jeopardy of suspending its services. If you would like to support this program, please send donations to Berks Encore at 40 North 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601 and mark them "Under 60 MOW Program" or online by clicking here. With your help, we can continue delivering meals to those in need who are under the age of 60. Thank you!
2012 Customers Bank Senior Expo Special Vendor Offer
The 11th Annual Customers Bank Senior Expo was a huge success with approximately 4,000 attendees meeting with the 120+ vendors. We're busy planning for the 2012 Senior Expo and would like to share a special offer for vendors.
Vendors who register by June 30 and pay for their booth by July 30 can receive the 2012 Early Bird price of $575. After July 1, the price will increase to $675, so don't delay! Click here to download an Early Bird Registration Form.

2011 Medicare Open Enrollment Results
The results are in for the 2011 Medicare Open Enrollment Period and thanks to the dedication of Berks Encore staff and volunteers, Berks County seniors will save more than $174,433 in 2012, which is an increase of nearly $65,000 over the 2010 Medicare Open Enrollment period.
